Sara Evans performs at Auburn Rotary benefit

Country music superstar Sara Evans thrilled audiences at the Rotary Club of Auburn’s sold-out 28th annual Scholarship Show on Monday at the Auburn Performing Arts Center.

The mulit-platinum selling singer – who also boasts five No. 1 country singles in her career – regaled the crowd with hits such as “No Place That Far”, “Born To Fly” and “I Could Not Ask For More”. Evans’ newest album “Stronger” was released in March and includes the hit single “A Little Bit Stronger.”

Evans was supported by opening act Thompson Square.

Money raised from the show goes toward the Rotary Club’s scholarship fund, which has raised more than $800,000 in the past 28 years.
