The Auburn Senior Activity Center, located at 808 Ninth St. SE, will have flu and pneumonia shots available on Oct. 9 and 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All ages over 18 are welcome. HMO members (except Secure Horizons, Aetna, Pacificare, and Premera) must go to their HMO providers to have their shots covered by Medicare; however, those wishing to pay cash for the convenience of avoiding a trip to their doctors’ office may do so. Other Medicare clients must bring their cards in order to have the cost covered by Medicare. The fee for those people under age or HMO members is $30 for flu shot, $40 for pneumonia shot.
