Fall residential recycling event set for Oct. 24

King County Solid Waste will be hosting a residential recycling event at Auburn Riverside High School located at 501 Oravetz Road SE on Oct. 24 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The event is open to all King County households. Business and commercial loads will not be accepted. Download brochure for full details.

Accepted items include: scrap metal, bulky wood waste, refrigerators, freezers, and household air conditioners, tires, household items, mattresses, electronic equipment, concrete, rock, asphalt, brick, sinks, and toilets. Some restrictions apply.

Computers, monitors, laptops, and televisions will no longer be accepted at this event. You may recycle these materials at no charge at designated E-Cycle Washington locations. Call 1-800-RECYCLE or visit www.ecyclewashington.org.
