Welcome to the JA World family: PEMCO joins learning facility lineup

Community members admire original artwork from local students at The PEMCO Achievement Zone in the Junior Achievement of Washington’s JA World learning facility in Auburn.

The new PEMCO Achievement Zone is a 2,400-square-foot gathering space designed to provide visitors, including K-12 students, educators, community members and local businesses, a collaborative meeting space that fosters creative thinking and innovation. There, students can learn the principles of responsible financial management, market-based economics and work readiness.

A renovated, collaborative space benefiting JA World, at 1610 Perimeter Road SW, opened after a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 30.

For more than 40 years, Junior Achievement of Washington and PEMCO have partnered to enhance the well-being of local youth and help them develop the tools necessary to build rewarding, self-sufficient futures.
