Last issue showed Sparky the Clown making balloon animals at the Community Easter Egg Hunt. However, you didn’t mention the sponsors of this great event, which is open to the whole community.

For many years, the Auburn Elks have sponsored this event and this year Walgreens Drug on Harvey Road helped the Elks with donations of candy and prizes. Without community service organizations like the Elks and cooperative businesses like Walgreens, these events wouldn’t happen. These volunteers don’t get paid to put together these events so, at least, they deserve credit and a thank you for all their hard work.
