Join me in voting yes for the Auburn School District

I am proud of the support our district provides to encourage all students in reaching their academic potential.

I am proud of the support our district provides to encourage all students in reaching their academic potential.

As a member of the Auburn community, I understand how critical the Auburn High School Modernization and Reconstruction Bond on the November ballot is to maintaining and enhancing student achievement. As a current Auburn School District educator, and as a parent of a student in the Auburn School District, I urge you to vote yes for this important local measure.

Even though our school district needs much more than this to support our academic programs, they have narrowed down the request to just this bond. The school house where education occurs must keep pace with the needs of our students and be cost effective. The exorbitant cost to provide for Auburn High School’s energy needs in the antiquated facility is money down the drain.

The longer we delay replacing this well used and worn out building, the more money is wasted and the more the construction will cost us later.

Let us get this done now and join together as a community to give our Auburn High School students the better learning environment they deserve as we have with our other two Auburn High Schools.

The members of the Auburn community can be assured that their support of this bond for the Auburn School District is money well spent. Our current and future students depend on our thoughtful vote to facilitate their academic success. Please join with me in voting “Yes” for our Auburn Students and schools on this current ballot.
