Latino community supports Lewis

I have resided in the city of Auburn since May 1, 1997.

On July 1998, the church Iglesia Presbyteriana El Buen Pastor was implanted,

We began working with the Latino community, causing a good impact and in result, Centro de Amistad Latino was born. Latino Friendship Center’s purpose was to be the main resource for our Latino community.

All our projects and intentions have been made possible due to the aid and support of Mayor Pete Lewis. We commend Mr. Pete Lewis sincere support toward our community, and we feel that we are given the same level of value as any other culture in this city.

In our community gatherings, Mayor Lewis is always willing to be involved and extend a word of encouragement to our people. He always strives and finds a way to connect us to the correct resources.

The Latino community extends its deepest appreciation toward Mr. Pete Lewis; we have gained the confidence to trust not only in him but in ourselves as well.

We need a Mayor like Mr. Pete Lewis; we need Mr. Pete Lewis so that Auburn continues to be “More than you can imagine.”
