I have had the pleasure of working with Nancy for several years both as volunteers for the Miss Auburn Scholarship Program and, more recently, as board members for the Valley Regional Fire Authority.

Nancy is one of the most dedicated, honest, hardworking public servants that I have had the opportunity to work with. She takes the time to learn about the issue at hand, form a well-rounded opinion by hearing both sides of the story and made a decision based on what is right, not what she is told. It is clear that she has a true passion for the community in which she lives and serves and the experience needed to take Auburn into the future.

As a “part-time” councilmember, Nancy spends countless hours of her personal time for the betterment of her community. As Auburn’s representative on various boards and committees Nancy fosters much needed relationships with other community leaders and helps bring back ideas and opportunities to our community. As a board member with Valley Regional Fire Authority she has attended the Fire Ops 101 training designed to help policymakers understand the difficult jobs that our firefighters face everyday.

It is clear that Nancy puts her community at the top of her priority list and that is why she has my full support to become Auburn’s next mayor.
