To repress, discredit and ban the press is a favorite among dictators. Donald Trump has been doing this for months. So long, in fact, that people started to believe him.

He relies on Twitter to communicate his brand of news to the American people, whether it’s factual or not. If things don’t fall in line with your way of doing things, just claim that the system is rigged – loudly and often. Next, surround yourself with yes men and women and family who know nothing about their new positions, other than to agree with everything that you propose. Then flip flop on all the promises you made during your campaign. Now, threaten to get rid of millions of people based on ethnicity and religion.

Sound familiar? It was done by a little country in Europe during the 1940s. Then, threaten businesses and corporations and the entire base of our allies to fall in line, or else … since he carries the biggest stick in the modern world, that is a frightening thought.

Thank you, Trump supporters. You just elected America’s first dictator. Please pray he does something impeachable soon.
