About the Sound Transit vehicle tabs debacle?

Mayor Nancy Backus blames you, the voters, as she stated, “People should have been able to read the voter’s guide more carefully,” while the Sept 29 Auburn Reporter states that some of our state senators are “convinced Sound Transit leaders played fast and loose with facts ….”

If our senior state leadership has issues interpreting ST3, how are the average citizens supposed to decipher the guide?

The 2015 Washington National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) shows that crime has increased in Auburn.

As I drive and walk around town, I don’t see improvement. I see more gang stamps on poles, fences, sidewalks, etc.

Mayor Backus is an accountant. We do need an accountant on the team, but we need an aggressive leader in the chair. Take a look around and ask yourself if the city has improved in the four years she’s been in office?

If not, can it really hurt to give Largo Wales a shot, or do we stand by another four years watching our city continue to deteriorate? Let’s take a chance on the professional educator. Vote for Wales.
