Auburn Ave Kids kicks off a new season by traveling ‘20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’

Auburn’s Ave Kids brings in Tears of Joy Theatre’s production of “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Auburn Avenue Theater.

Two enthusiastic Jules Verne fans tell the story of the French adventure novelist’s work. Professor Pierre Aronnax is dispatched by the government to investigate a strange creature that’s been troubling the sea. Upon colliding with a strange vessel, he meets the eccentric Captain Nemo and his infamous invention, the Nautilus. From there, their various adventures will take them “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”.
