Auburn Regional hosts benefit for Alzheimer’s Association

Auburn Regional Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Unit is sponsoring an Aug. 17-19 fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The event will take place in the hospital’s atrium, through the main entrance by Tully’s, 202 N Division St.

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for many of the select items up for bid in a silent auction. The items will be on display from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 17 and 18. The public will have a last chance to bid and buy raffle tickets from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 19, with the announcement of the winners expected at 1 p.m.

Proceeds will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association.

“Those of us who work here at the Behavioral Health Unit know the challenges that Alzheimers patients, and their families, face every day,” said Dana Neil. “This fundraiser is a way to give back to an incredible organization that is leading the way in research, advocacy and support.”
