Bronn and Katherine Journey and friends return to Auburn on Saturday to perform their annual Christmas concert.
The event, which combines harp, humor and song and features music celebrating the joy of the Christmas season, begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Auburn Performing Arts Center, 700 E. Main St.
Bronn brings a warm and casual approach to the concert harp, while accompanied at times throughout the evening by Katherine’s angelic voice and several guest musicians. The program includes music from many genres – Broadway, folk, classical and sacred, but the highlight of the evening will be the beauty of traditional Christmas classics.
For the Journerys, it marks the 30th year of performing Christmas concerts.

Proceeds benefit the Maple Valley Rotary’s Music For Kids program, which provides instruments, lessons and tuition assistance for children. The concert features MVYSO’s debut philharmonic and symphony orchestras as well as ensemble groups. The audience will be treated to holiday favorites, including Vivaldi’s “Winter” with violin solo by Haley Kovach, MVYSO’s concert mistress. Santa Claus makes a special visit.
