Auburn’s Summer Sounds & Cinema announces event lineup, series sponsor MultiCare

The Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Department, along with MultiCare, has announced its Friday night Summer Sounds & Cinema Series lineup.

The Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Department, along with MultiCare, has announced its Friday night Summer Sounds & Cinema Series lineup.

“We are thankful that MultiCare has come forward to support this outstanding outdoor entertainment series for our citizens,” said Daryl Faber, Parks, Arts & Recreation director.

“We enjoy providing this outdoor concert and movie series,” Faber added. “It gives Auburn residents the opportunity to meet their friends and neighbors for an unforgettable experience. The free event series has proven to be a family favorite and blends in with our family-approved programming.”

The series kicks off at Sunset Park on Aug. 5 with entertainment provided by One Eyed Jack and a screening of “How To Train Your Dragon” (PG). Food concessions, operated by Auburn’s Youth Council, will be available at the events for a nominal fee. Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic blankets.
