Brugger wins New York International Film Festival award for animated video

Jessie Brugger, of New York City, formerly of Auburn, won an award for her video entry, "The Stained Glass Window," at the recent New York International Film Festival.

Jessie Brugger, of New York City, formerly of Auburn, won an award for her video entry, “The Stained Glass Window,” at the recent New York International Film Festival.

Brugger’s short film was awarded Best In Animation. Her video entry was shown on the big screen at the Cort Theatre in Manhattan on March 29.

The New York International Film Festival, formally known as the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, attracted entries throughout the world, including Australia, Brazil, Kenya and Japan.

Brugger is the daughter of Dick and Lela Brugger, Auburn.
