Doktor Kaboom! to operate in Saturday matinee at Auburn Ave

The entertaining, yet educational, antics and experiments of Doktor Kaboom! will be exploding at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Auburn Avenue Theater.

The entertaining, yet educational, antics and experiments of Doktor Kaboom! will be exploding at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Auburn Avenue Theater.

Doktor Kaboom! – an interactive, one-man science variety show – is suitable for all audiences. A fun way of approaching science for kids and a great refresher for adults, Kaboom weaves education, music and hilarious one-liners together for everyone’s enjoyment.

Doktor Kaboom has toured coast to coast and has even appeared nationwide on Fox News. With shows tailored directly for his audience, students from elementary to high school and adults at corporate events and evening performances have all had a side-splitting time with Doktor Kaboom.

The creation of actor/comedian David Epley, Doktor Kaboom! creatively blends theatre arts with the wonders of scientific exploration. Epley has been fortunate enough to discover two passions in his life. Science, his first, took him to studies at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. His second, performing, because his career, and for 20 years Epley has made his living writing, performing and directing original interactive comedy across the U.S. and Canada.

Auburn Ave Kids showcases local, regional and national acts and touring presentations with an emphasis on audiences ages four through 12 and their parents.
