Auburn’s Fourth of July Festival runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Friday at Les Gove Park and is shaping up to be a lot of fun.
Check out the live entertainment, the kids’ rides and attractions, along with more than 40 artisan vendors offering hand-made items, from jewelry and kids’ stuff to fine art, candles, clothing, lotions and food.
The first of four shows begins at 11:30 a.m. when Matt Baker’s Comedy and Stunt Show takes the stage. In between shows, there will be talented entertainers roving about. The Freedom Stage also boasts Wally & The Beaves, playing 1950s and 1960s rock n’ roll, and the Pacific Northwest’s top soulful Americana group, the James Coates Band.
While there are plenty of activities to enjoy for free, starting at 10 a.m., event-goers may buy a wristband for $10 that’s good for unlimited rides and attractions throughout the festival hours.
Festival-goers may also enjoy unique cars at the car show.
The White River Valley Museum will offer free admission during the festival, and Salvatore Cascano of the Auburn Bocce Club will provide free instruction and demos.
The Muckleshoot Casino Resort is supporting Auburn’s festival, while Edward Jones and Dave and Busters are sponsoring the event.
