Eric Ode has both hands on deck at the Auburn Avenue Theater on Saturday for a family-fun adventure.

Ode’s Pirate Show – Yo Ho!, an Auburn Ave Kids presentation, begins at 2 p.m. at the Auburn Avenue Theater, 10 Auburn Ave.

Join the award-winning songwriter, author and poet and his first mate, Anthony Rat, for a musical tale of sharks, storms and hidden treasure.

Ode is an author, songwriter, and poet for kids and families. A former elementary teacher of 12 years with a master’s degree in educational technology, Ode has been invited to share his music and poetry programs with schools, community festivals, libraries and churches throughout the United States, in Japan and in Guam.

His upbeat, high-participation programs are bubbling over with fun, interactive music and include stories, skits, poetry, props and puppets.
