Events coming to Auburn this September

From bodybuilding competitions to orchestra concerts.

Here’s a look at some of the special events coming to Auburn this September.

Washington State Olympic Natural: KT Productions is presenting the Washington State Olympic Natural Bodybuilding competition at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Auburn Performing Arts Center at Auburn High School. This competition is a World Natural Bodybuilding Federation qualifying event. All of the athletes performing are drug-free.

Angeline Quinto & Budakhel: On Saturday, Sept. 10, Angeline Quinto & Budakhel are performing a concert with special guests at the Auburn Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m.

Hops & Crops Music and Beer Fest: On Saturday, Sept. 17, at the White River Valley Museum from noon to 6 p.m. enjoy food trucks, beer from several breweries, and live music at the Hops & Crops Music and Beer Fest. This event is for ages 21 and up, you can pre-order tickets online through the White River Valley Museum website.

Auburn Symphony Orchestra: The Auburn Symphony Orchestra is kicking off its 26th season with a concert at the Auburn Performing Arts Center at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18. This concert is a Pacific Northwest premiere by Viet Cuong, Felix Mendelssohn and Ludwig van Beethoven, featuring soloists Rachell Ellen Wong, violin and Shannon Spicciati and Dan Williams, oboes.

Kerala Association of Washington: On Saturday, Sept. 24, the Kerala Association of Washington is hosting an Onam festival, an opportunity to connect with Kerala cultures and traditions and other Malayali families at the Auburn Performing Arts Center.
