Poetry at The Station Bistro presents the works of Dennis Caswell, David D. Horowitz, Judith Skillman and Michael Spence on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Poetry at The Station Bistro presents the works of Dennis Caswell, David D. Horowitz, Judith Skillman and Michael Spence on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

The program is from 7-9 p.m. at the Bistro, 110 Second St. SW, No. 125, one block south of West Main Street, on the east side of the Auburn Transit Center.

Coffee and conversation follow readings. It is an open mic opportunity. The public is invited.

Caswell’s poetry collection, “Phlogiston”, was published by Floating Bridge Press in 2012. His poems have appeared in many anthologies and journals, including Raven Chronicles, Crab Creek Review, Fault Lines, and Light. His website is www.denniscaswell.com.

Horowitz founded and manages Rose Alley Press. His latest poetry collections, both from Rose Alley, are “Stars Beyond the Battlesmoke” (2008) and “Sky Above the Temple” (2012). His newcollection, “Cathedral and Highrise”, is due from Rose Alley in early 2015. His website is www.rosealleypress.com.

Skillman’s latest poetry collection, “Angles of Separation”, was just published by Glass Lyre Press. Her “New and Selected Poems: 2007-2013” is from Dream Horse Press.

Spence’s new poetry collection, “The Bus Driver’s Threnody”, is from Truman State University Press. Previous collections include “The Spine” (Purdue, 1987), “Adam Chooses” (Rose Alley, 1998) and “Crush Depth” (Truman State, 2009). Poetry, Sewanee Review, and other fine journals have published his work.
