Gaelic Storm to perform at Puyallup Fair & Events Center

It’s amazing how a one-time pub band became an overnight success when they appeared in James Cameron’s mega-hit move, Titanic. Since their appearance on the big screen Gaelic Storm has sold out hundreds of theatres and performing arts centers, and has played to millions of Celtic music fans, topped the Billboard World Album Chart, and been a featured performer at the world’s largest Irish Festival.

The Gaelic Storm concert will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center’s Americraft ShowPlex in Puyallup, Washington. Tickets are on sale at: http://www.thefair.com/concerts/concert-info/?o=9ce70b7b97a52d3327e7f2d11a30d9d9 and Ticketmaster locations. Tickets are $35 for the reserved seating, and $25 for general admission. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Since their inception nearly 13 years ago, Gaelic Storm has developed a tremendous following with their unique sound, combining Celtic influences, feverish rock and roll intensity and a unique blend of world rhythms.

Gaelic Storm has an impressive list of accomplishments, including seven Billboard chart-topping albums, a DVD, a full-length concert film, song placement on two EA Sports Games, a 2008 Hallmark greeting card featuring their song, “Kiss Me I’m Irish,” and countless television and radio appearances.
