Robert Blevins, co-author of “Into The Blast – The True Story of D.B. Cooper”, will be featured in a Jan. 6 episode of “Brad Meltzer’s Decoded” on the History Channel.

The series, which began Dec. 2, investigates popular conspiracies and mysteries. Shows this season include a look at secret presidential codes and a study of the secrets of the Statue of Liberty.

The Jan. 6 episode looks into the theory set forth by Blevins’ book – which was co-written by New York detective Skipp Porteous and published by Adventure Books of Seattle – that D.B. Cooper was actually Bonney Lake resident Kenneth Christiansen.

Parts of the show, including those featuring Blevins, were taped at the Priced Right Print and Sign shop in Bonney Lake, which used to be Christiansen’s home.

The show also reveals a few new twists, including a possible hiding place in the Priced Right shop for Cooper’s loot.

The show will air at 10 p.m. Jan. 6 on the History Channel.

A second, updated edition “Into the Blast” is expected to be released on Jan. 6 and will be available at amazon.com. For more information go to www.adventurebooksofseattle.com.
