What sets Hops and Crops Music and Beer Festival apart from the run of the mill festivals in scattered arenas is its setting — the historic Mary Olson Farm nestled in a canyon just down the road from the Auburn Municipal Golf Course.
And come rain or shine, event hosts at the White River Valley Museum say, that’s where it’ll be between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept, 13, at the farm, 28728 Green River Road.
Hops and Crops is strictly for ages 21 and older, but it’s open to all leashed, well-behaved dogs of all ages.
Here’s the buzz.
There’ll be great breweries and cideries, such as Republic of Cider, 2 Towns Ciderhouse, Offset Ciderworks, Wheat Head Brewing, Top Down Brewing, Acorn Brewing, Rail Hop’n, Valhalla Mead, Jotunn Ciderhouse, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Pelican Brewing and more.
Live music will be supplied by Happy Chems, Sugar Bones, General Mojo’s and Jaws of Brooklyn. There will be food trucks from Thai U Up, Longhorn BBQ, Stacks Burgers and Pizza Maniacs.
Camp chairs and blankets are encouraged. Outside food is discouraged. Outside alcohol, drugs and firearms are prohibited.
General admission is $35, which includes 5 oz. taster glass and six taster tickets. Designated driver admission is $10.
