For the Reporter
One of the industry’s most electrifying live performers, four-time Grammy Award winner and “American Idol” judge Keith Urban performs at the Washington State Fair at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.
His concert scheduled at the fair last September was postponed due to a family emergency. While ticket holders from the 2014 concert will use the same tickets for this year’s show, available seats in a new lower grandstand section will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The Keith Urban concert is part of the fair’s Columbia Bank Concert Series.
Tickets are $100 (Golden Circle), $80 and $40 with reserved seating, and include fair gate admission. Tickets for the available seats go on sale on the fair website or by phone, 888-559-FAIR (3247) daily, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets also can be purchased in person at the fair’s box office at 9th Avenue Southwest and Meridian Street on Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a $1 per ticket service fee will be charged for on-site purchases.
Current ticket holders
When the concert was postponed last September, ticket holders were told to hold onto their 2014 tickets, as they will be the tickets you use for the Sept. 19, 2015 concert date. The concert ticket will also act as the Fair gate ticket and concert ticket. Ticket purchasers last year are guaranteed the same seat they selected for this year’s concert.
To make it a special evening, ticket holders to the Keith Urban concert can purchase tickets to the official pre-show party. For more details about the Pre-Show Party and to purchase tickets, visit www.thefair.com.
