Kenny Rogers, Tacoma Symphony to perform at Puyallup Fair

The performance, part of the Columbia Bank’s Puyallup Fair Concert Series, will start selling tickets on Saturday, April 17 at 9 a.m.at www.thefair.com/concerts/concert-info/?o=10c269f995b2f3cddbbda7d147bd69a7 and Ticketmaster outlets. Ticket prices range from $20-55, and include Fair gate admission. Seats are reserved.

Rogers has established a firm hold as an icon in American music, having charted a record in each of the last six decades. “Lady,” “Ruby Don’t Take Your Love to Town,” “The Gambler, “ and “She Believes in Me” are just a sampling of the titles that have drawn rock, pop, soul, and country audiences over the years.

• Sept. 18 – Dierks Bentley “Miles and Music for Kids” (country), 7:30 p.m.

• Sept. 22 – Daryl Hall and John Oates “Do What You Want, Be What You Are Tour 2010” (R&B), 7:30 p.m.

• Sept. 23 – MercyMe and Jeremy Camp, 7:30 p.m.
