Legendary group coming to the state fair stage Sept. 7

Beach Boys music transcends generations; tickets on sale this week

The Washington State Fair welcomes back The Beach Boys at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7, part of the Columbia Bank Concert Series.

The band has birthed a torrent of hit singles and sold albums by the tens of millions. But its greater significance lies in the fact that The Beach Boys’ songs have forever changed the musical landscape, profoundly influencing countless performing artists to follow.

The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love, who, along with longtime member Bruce Johnston, musical director Scott Totten, Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Keith Hubacher and Randy Leago continue the legacy of the iconic band. This concert will not feature Brian Wilson, Al Jardine or David Marks.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12. Visit thefair.com/subscribe and join the free E-Club for access to the best seats and ticket offers. E-Club members get the opportunity to buy tickets to all shows in the Columbia Bank Concert Series lineup, before the general public.
