Motorsport Mayhem, sponsored by Budweiser, is returning to the Washington State Spring Fair in Puyallup on April 11, 12, and 13.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The Monster Truck Show is slated for 7:30 p.m. April 11. the Slamfest Demolition Derby is 7:30 p.m. April 12, featuring trucks and cars, followed by a fireworks show. At 4 p.m. Sunday, April 13, the Slamfest features big cars and a crane drop by Mr. Dizzy.
These are separate ticketed events, though advance purchase tickets include Spring Fair admission, a $10 value. All seats are reserved, and the grandstand opens one hour prior to showtime. Tickets are also sold by phone at 888-559-FAIR (3247), daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; or in person at the Washington State Fair’s Box Office at 9th Avenue Southwest and Meridian Street on Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A $1 per ticket service fee will be charged for on-site purchases.
Monster Truck Show
The Monster Truck Show on Friday night is produced by WGAS Motorsports. Featured trucks and drivers include (trucks subject to change): Bounty Hunter; Iron Outlaw; Captain USA; Wrongway Rick; Detour; Time Fly’s; Scarlet Bandit; Mirror Image; Obsession; and Team Survivor.
The newest and youngest rising monster truck super star, Rosalee, will be driving Detour. She has been featured on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “Good Morning America” and featured in the San Francisco Chronicle.
There will be a free pit party on Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., where Monster Truck Show ticket holders can see the trucks up close and meet the drivers. Kids of all ages can enjoy taking a ride on a tricked-out monster truck on Friday, April 11 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, April 12 from noon to 4 p.m. for $7 (cash) per ride.
Prices are $31 for premium box seats and range from $19 to $24 for adults, $9 to $12 for kids (ages 2-18) and $52 for family packs (2 adults, 2 kids).
Slamfest Demolition Derby
Slamfest Demolition Derby is produced by Evergreen Speedway/High Road Promotions. Both derbies include Figure 8s, the Derby Heat Races, and Slamfest (the last car standing wins). The Saturday derby features trucks and cars, followed by a fireworks show. A free pit party follows the Sunday show.
Mr. Dizzy, the star of the History Channel’s hit show, “American Daredevils”, will be signing autographs after the Saturday and Sunday Demolition Derby performances. He will also do a crane drop at the Sunday Slamfest performance.
Prices are $31 for premium box seats and range from $17 to $22 for adults, $9 to $12 for kids (ages 2-18) and $52 for family packs (2 adults, 2 kids).
The Spring Fair
The Spring Fair in Puyallup offers fun for all ages and interests, including All Alaskan Racing Pigs, free entertainment, DockDogs, the Northwest Junior Livestock Show and Sale, nearly 350 exhibits, food, rides and more.
