Randy Hansen brings back the legendary sound of Jimi Hendrix in a tribute show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Auburn Avenue Theater, 10 Auburn Ave.

Hansen has been performing since the ’70s, entertaining audiences worldwide as he channels the spirit of Hendrix and recreates the stage presence and skill of the legendary axeman.

As one of the few players officially recognized by the Hendrix family, Hansen has played alongside some of the greats, including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Miller, Paul Rodgers, Herbie Hancock, and original Jimi Hendrix Experience members Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell.
