MVYSO to perform ‘Tangled Webs and Loose Ends’

The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra is presenting its first concert of the season, “Tangled Webs and Loose Ends,” at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, located at 23855 SE 216th St., Maple Valley.

The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra is presenting its first concert of the season, “Tangled Webs and Loose Ends,” at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, located at 23855 SE 216th St., Maple Valley.

The concert features musical unfinished business, including Schubert’s “Unfinished Symphony”, Haydn’s “Farewell Symphony”, and Paul Dukas’ “Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”

There is a suggested donation of $5 for the concert. A reception will immediately follow the concert.

The MVYSO is embarking on its fourth season. It has grown from a modest start of eight students in the fall of 2007 to 80 students involved in its four-orchestra programs.
