Pacific Ballroom dancers to perform spring concert

Pacific Ballroom Dance’s nationally heralded performers will present their annual spring concert – “Dancing Through Life!” – on May 29-30 at the Auburn Performing Arts Center.

Tickets are on sale now for shows each night at 7:30. A Saturday matinee is set for 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for the evening shows, $10 for the matinee.

Pacific Ballroom Dance delivered second- and third-place performances at the United States National Amateur DanceSport Championships in Provo, Utah. The March 13-15 competition attracted several of the best ballroom formation teams and youth couples in the nation.

Pacific Ballroom Dance is comprised of local teenagers from the Puget Sound area, including Auburn.

PBD’s youth premier team finished second against 12 other squads with the new standard medley titled “Afrika.” PBD’s Latin team, with its “Feelin’ Good” medley, also performed well, placing third among 16 teams.

PBD is a non-profit organization, founded about a decade ago.
