It is a little know earthly fact that angels are avid readers.

God might love you and me, but his love for the Seattle Mariners is less certain.
If he does love the Mariners, it’s the kind of love that does little to benefit Seattle sports fans. He might have the grace to forgive the Mariners’ sins (of which there are plenty), but I don’t think his love extends to healing their pitching woes or batting averages.
Kids tossed colored balls back and forth, a man grilled wienies on a barbecue and fun reigned at Les Gove Park on Friday evening as an estimated crowd of 450 gathered to hear some of Auburn’s finest voices compete for top honors in the Auburn On Stage! competition.

Rather than a more traditional “vacation Bible school” just for kids this summer, White River Presbyterian Church in Auburn is providing a family-strengthening activity designed for the entire family.
Pacific Northwest Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering: 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. July 26-27. Friday events are free. Weekend features pipe bands, Highland dancing, Celtic Kennel competition, athletic contests, traditional Scottish food and more.
