Queensrÿche, Tesla to perform at Puyallup Fair on Sept. 20

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday through www.thefair.com/concerts/concert-info/?o=2d17aaa9985e1e11f9f692f85b021bc0. The 7:30 p.m. concert is part of Columbia Bank’s Puyallup Fair concert series lineup at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center.

Ticket prices range from $25-$40 and include fair gate admission. Seats are reserved.

Queensrÿche, the heavy metal band that got its start in Bellevue, has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, including more than six million albums in the U.S., including hit single, “Silent Lucidity.” Tesla is a multi-platinum-selling rock band known for their melodic songs and down to earth appeal, recognized for songs “Love Song” and “Signs.”

Tesla has been selling out concerts around the world for decades. They were formed in Sacramento in 1985, and named for the eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla, who pioneered the radio.

In 2008 the band released its seventh studio album, Forever More. The new collection of songs included “I Wanna Live,” “Breakin’ Free,” “Fallin’ Apart” and the title track “Foreever More.” For further information, visit: www.teslatheband.com.
