Assault

Auburn police were dispatched on Aug. 4 after receiving a report at approximately 11:05 p.m. regarding a shots fired call. According to the department’s public information log, a woman was arrested in the 900 block of 24th Street Northeast and booked on charges of assault in the third degree and assault of a child in the third degree. The department also listed an additional offense of aggravated assault.

Police listed a handgun and ammo as evidence in the incident. The department’s log lists three victims in the incident. Investigation into the incident continues.

Armed robbery

Auburn police were dispatched on Aug. 6 after receiving report at approximately 8:30 p.m. of an armed robbery at a gas station convenience store in the 500 block of A Street Southeast. According to the department, three men robbed the store at gunpoint, stealing miscellaneous items including alcohol, tobacco products, scratch tickets and 60 dollars in cash from the register. No injuries resulted from the incident, according to the department. Police have no suspect information as of Aug. 9.

Robbery involving firearm

Auburn police were dispatched on Aug. 5 after receiving a report at approximately 7:30 a.m. regarding a robbery involving a firearm in the 1500 block of Auburn Way North. According to the department, three men wearing black masks and dark clothes robbed a gas station at gunpoint, with $150 in cash and $100 in consumables stolen in the incident. No injuries resulted from the incident. Police have no suspect information as of Aug. 9, according to the department. Investigation into the incident continues.

Aggravated assault

Auburn police were dispatched on Aug. 3 after receiving a report at approximately 12:57 p.m. regarding an aggravated assault at an apartment complex in the 6200 block of Terrace View Lane Southeast. According to the department’s public information log, a woman was assaulted after her ex-boyfriend kicked in her front door and entered her residence. In addition to aggravated assault, police listed an additional offense of residential burglary in the incident. Police have identified a suspect in the incident. Investigation into the incident continues, according to the Auburn Police Department.

Assault with a firearm

Auburn police were dispatched on Aug. 3 after receiving a report at approximately 6:58 p.m. regarding an assault with a firearm in the 2500 block of Redwood Court. According to the department’s public information log, a woman was arrested for assault in the second degree with a firearm in the incident. The department’s log listed one victim. Police declared an AR-15 and handgun as evidence in the incident. The Auburn Police Department forwarded the case to King County prosecutors.

Shooting

Auburn police dispatched to a shooting incident on Aug. 5 at approximately 3:15 a.m. in the 2400 block of Auburn Way South. The shooting resulted in no injuries, according to the department. Investigation into the incident continues.
