Three people were injured in a vehicle-school bus collision this afternoon on Harvey Road Northeast.

Three people were injured in a vehicle-school bus collision this afternoon on Harvey Road Northeast.

At 2:56 p.m. firefighters from the Valley Regional Fire Authority received a 911 dispatch to a report of the collision at the 800 block of Harvey Road Northeast. First-arriving firefighters observed a male trapped in the driver’s side in the vehicle at the rear of the school bus. He was extricated by firefighters and transported to Harborview Medical Center by King County Medic One.

The female driver of the school bus sustained minor injuries and was transported by private ambulance to Auburn Regional Medical Center. A male passenger in a vehicle in front of the bus was also transported to Auburn Regional with minor injuries. The driver of that vehicle declined treatment.

Two teenage males on the bus were uninjured.

The Auburn Police Department is investigating the incident.
