Advisory: Construction, Tuesday concert and other events to affect Auburn-area traffic | Updated listings

Note: This weekend there will be simultaneous I-5 lane closures and a full closure of SR 167. There will also be a concert on Sunday.

For the Reporter

The City of Auburn Traffic Division, Police Department and Streets Division will be working in the coming days and weeks to accommodate the extra activities, festivals and traffic.

The majority of the impacts will be seen on Auburn Way South, the Muckleshoot Casino area and the White River Amphitheatre. Officials want to inform area residents of the upcoming activities so you can plan accordingly for increased traffic and noise.

Crews will be striping arterial and collector roads throughout the City through the month of September. Please do not follow paint vehicles too closely or cross over wet paint. This work is dependent on weather.

Access to residences and businesses will be maintained during painting, but minor delays should be expected in areas where painting is currently taking place.
