Assault

Auburn police dispatched on April 15 to 10 B Street Southeast after receiving report of an assault at approximately 5:32 a.m. The victim advised police that another man approached him and assaulted him prior to fleeing the scene. First responders transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with injuries. Investigation into the incident continues.

Robbery

Auburn police received report of a robbery involving a firearm on April 15 at approximately 9:09 p.m. at Walmart in the 700 Block of Outlet Collection Drive Southwest. According to the department, a suspect pulled a gun out in the store as they attempted to shoplift. No injuries resulted as of the incident, according to the department, though merchandise was stolen.

Shooting

Auburn police are currently investigating a shooting incident on April 15 that resulted in a man being shot in the leg. The shooting occured in the 1100 block of 115th Street Southwest with police receiving report of the incident at approximately 10 p.m. and dispatching to the scene. Police collected 19 bullet casings as evidence from the scene.
