Auburn Avenue Theater burglary | Police blotter

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Jan. 10 and Jan. 13:

Jan. 10

Residential burglary: Overnight, 11300 block of Southeast 304th Street. A person or persons unknown burglarized a home that was under construction.

Commercial burglary: Overnight, 10 Auburn Avenue. A burglar or burglars hit the Auburn Avenue Theater and inflicted a bit of damage on the shuttered old building.

Stalking: 2:50 p.m., 12000 block of Southeast 320th Street. A female, no age given, reported that someone was stalking her.

Jan. 11

Theft: Overnight, 3700 block of Auburn Way South. A wallet was stolen and bank cards were used at Walmart

Sex offense: 10:17 a.m., 600 block of 5th Street Southeast. Somebody complained that a sex offense of unspecified deviance had occurred.

Felonious thievery: 12:25 p.m., 4000 block of A Street Southeast. Someone stole a motorized grocery scooter from Safeway in Auburn.

Burglary: 6:45 p.m., 400 block of 51st Street Southeast. Someone burglarized a man’s home, swiping numerous firearms.

Jan. 12

Vandalism: Overnight, 29300 block of 130nd Avenue Southeast. Someone found a safe in a patch of woods. How’d it get there? Police didn’t say.

Jan. 13

Robbery: 12 a.m., 600 block of 19th Street Southeast. Police arrested a man for armed robbery in Auburn.
