Auburn, which was led by Kevin Henderson’s 30 points, finished the season 16-11.

Stanwood (17-8) led by as many as 20 points in the second half before the Trojans rallied to trim the lead to one. Stanwood, behind Schmidt, held on.

Stanwood led 21-6 after the first quarter lead. Auburn narrowed it to 35-27 at the break.

Henderson also had three rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Tyler Jones added nine points, five assists and six steals for Auburn.

Junior Iszia Johnson had 19 points, 12 rebounds and three assists in the contest and Rowland Quinit chipped in with five points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal.
