The City of Auburn Traffic Division, Police Department and Streets Division will be working harder than they normally do in the coming days and weeks in Auburn to accommodate the extra activities, festivals and traffic surrounding Fourth of July activities and summer entertainment.
The majority of the impacts will be seen on Auburn Way South, the Muckleshoot Casino area and the White River Amphitheatre. Officials want to inform area residents of the upcoming activities so people can plan accordingly for increased traffic and noise in these areas.
Please be aware of the following upcoming events in Auburn surrounding the holiday:
Friday, June 27: Fireworks demonstration (exact time unknown)
Location: Near the Muckleshoot Casino.
Expect higher than normal traffic volumes and noise.
Saturday, June 28: Fireworks show (10 p.m.)
Location: Muckleshoot Casino
Expect higher than normal traffic volumes and noise.
Saturday, June 28: Concert (12:30 p.m.)
Location: White River Amphitheatre
Vans Warped Tour 2014
Expect higher than normal traffic volumes.
Sunday, June 29: Concert (7 p.m.)
Location: White River Amphitheatre
KISS and Def Leppard concert
Expect higher than normal traffic volumes.
Thursday, July 3: Fireworks show (9:45 p.m.)
Location: Emerald Downs

Expect high traffic volumes in this area and noise during the show.
Friday, July 4: Festival (11 a.m.–4 p.m.)
Location: Les Gove Park

Expect higher traffic volumes near park
Friday, July 4: Fireworks discharge area (all day)
Location: Near the Muckleshoot Casino
Expect high traffic volumes on Auburn Way South throughout the day and into the evening and noise.
City officials encourage residents to expect traffic delays during this time and to exercise patience with the extra traffic and activities in the area. Please exercise caution around fireworks and obey all local laws and regulations.
