Auburn grad to perform in CWU’s ‘Mary Poppins’

Jeffrey Rowden, a 2010 graduate of Auburn High School, will perform in the ensemble in Central Washington University's production of "Mary Poppins".

Jeffrey Rowden, a 2010 graduate of Auburn High School, will perform in the ensemble in Central Washington University’s production of “Mary Poppins”.

This is Rowden’s second production at CWU. He will be performing with the Leavenworth Summer Theatre in the “The Sound of Music”, “Beauty and the Beast”, and “Singing in the Rain”.

Rowden, a transfer student from Highline College, is a junior pursuing a bachelor of fine arts degree in musical theatre.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. May 6-7 and 12-14, with 2 o’clock showing on May 8 and 15, in the McConnell Auditorium, 400 E. University Way, Ellensburg.

Reserved seating tickets are $15/20 general admission (ages 18-64); $12/15 seniors (65 and older); $12/15 for non-CWU students; and $8 for CWU students with ID. Advance ticket purchases are recommended.
