The Auburn High School Booster Club presents its first annual auction at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Muckleshoot Casino Chinook Room, 2402 Auburn Way S., Auburn.

The club seeks donations from local businesses, alumni and community members to help support student participation in athletics and activities.

Activities include a silent and live auction.

Tickets cost $30 and include dinner, followed by a dessert auction.

For more than a century Auburn High School has self-supported athletics and clubs. The funds raised through the auction will directly support the athletics and activities of the 1,600 students attending the school. More than half of the student body qualifies for free or reduced lunch. Many of the students cannot afford to pay ASB fees, which are required to play sports or participate in school activities and clubs.

You can help support the students by making a tax-deductible contribution to the AHS Booster Club. Donors will be recognized on the auction website, in programs, on posters and other media, as well as during the auction.
