Auburn High School students were evacuated late this morning following a bomb threat called in to the school.

Auburn High School students were evacuated late this morning following a bomb threat called in to the school.

Students returned to their classrooms about 1 p.m., about 90 minutes after school first received a call from a male who said there was a bomb in the school, said Auburn Police Commander Mike Hirman.

Auburn police searched the high school and found nothing suspicious.

Students were evacuated to the football field until a search was completed.

Auburn police are investigating the cell phone subscriber.
