The Auburn Mountainview boys and girls aquatic teams swept the top-three places at the ninth annual Auburn School District Aquatic Programs Triathlon last Saturday.

Starting off with a brisk bicycle ride from the Auburn Walmart to Veterans Memorial Park, participants ran a course through the park before finishing up in the Auburn School District Pool.

Winners in the boys competition were senior Valen Hill. Senior Jimmy McNab finished second and freshman Chase Murphy was third.

In the girls competition, freshman Amelia Portin was first, with seniors Willa Richmond and Maddie Massagli taking home second and third, respectively.

The competition raised money for Auburn School District water polo and swimming programs.
