Auburn gathered to pray last Thursday in the new City Hall Plaza – in observance of the National Day of Prayer.

Pastors from several Auburn churches lead public prayers for the country, civil servants and elected officials.

“A Mighty Fortress is Our God,” was the theme for the 60th annual Day of Prayer.

“In these uncertain times, we need the encouragement of these words from Psalm 91,” said Marge Gordon, Auburn event coordinator.
