May 4

Burglary: 5 p.m., 3624 Auburn Way N. An employee of Public Storage called to report the burglary of a unit.

May 5

Vandalism: Overnight, 11100 block of SE 316th Place. Somebody hurled a rock through the back window of a vehicle, but took nothing from said vehicle.

Too young, man: 10:35 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a 19-year-old man for frequenting a tavern without the required number of birthdays to his credit after he was discovered gambling inside the Muckleshoot Casino.

May 9

Theft: 6:13 a.m., 900 block of 31st Street Northeast. A man told police that somebody had stolen equipment from his work vehicle after tampering with his door lock.

Burglary: Overnight, 535 15th St. NE. Somebody stole eight car batteries and a set of stock 17-inch Mazda rims from Firestone Auto Care. Police did not disclose a value for the stolen items.

Theft: 12:19 p.m., 500 block of 17th Street Southeast. Somebody stole a woman’s wallet while she was praying at Holy Family Catholic Church.

May 10

Shoplifting: 10:33 a.m., 1702 Auburn Way N. A shoplifter fled from a Top Foods employee after somebody spied a shoplifter shoplifting. Police located

the shoplifter several blocks from the store and arrested him.

Shoplifting: 4 p.m., 1500 block of Auburn Way S. Police arrested a woman for shoplifting at Goodwill. Police didn’t say what the woman stole.

Burglary: Overnight, 1761 Auburn Way N. Somebody or several somebodies stole a metal tow bar and two guide arms from a truck at The Truck Shop. Police did not disclose a value for the stolen items.

Marijuana: 8:10 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Somebody found a small baggy of marijuana on the floor of the Muckleshoot Casino.

Theft: 4:42 a.m., 20 block of 15th Street Northeast. A woman went into a local convenience store and left a man of her acquaintance in his car with her purse. When she left the store, both man and purse were gone. The woman did not know the man’s last name, or the license plate number of the vehicle he was driving.
