April 12

Property theft: 12:09 p.m., 1500 block of 14th Street Northwest. Somebody entered a vehicle unlawfully and stole a cellphone, money and cigarettes.

Vandalism: 5:48 p.m., 1519 Auburn Way S. Somebody knifed tires in Goodwill’s parking lot.

Trespassing: 6:32 p.m., 2102 Auburn Way N. A woman made such a royal nuisance of herself at the Royal A Motel that management demanded her absence.

April 13

Trespassing: 9:39 a.m., 1201 M St. SE. Police busted two people for being in an empty building where they oughtn’t have been, and arrested one of them on a King County warrant.

April 14

Prowling vehicles: 3:30 a.m., 1100 block of 22nd Street Northeast. A resident eyeballed two boys as they were prowling vehicles in the small hours of the morning and called police, who showed up to bust the miscreants.

April 16

Arson: 12:29 a.m., 30 block of Pike Street Northeast. Police and firefighters responded to a suspicious fire.

April 17

Theft: Overnight, 99 B St. NE. While a guy was sleeping at a bus stop, somebody stole his backpack.

And he’s off!: 6:51 p.m., 2300 Emerald Downs Drive NW. Emerald Downs management told a dude who was being a horse’s patoot to trot on out of there.
