Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Dec. 2 and 10:
Dec. 2
Weapons offense: 7:58 a.m., 29600 block of Green River Road Southeast. Somebody shot off a gun illegally.
Theft: 2:52 a.m., 800 block of 52nd Street Southeast. Somebody reported the theft of a package.
Theft: 7:10 p.m., 4010 A St. SE. A local grocery store reported a felonious theft.
Dec. 3
Burglary: 9 a.m., 2302 R St. SE. Somebody burglarized a story shed.
Theft: 1:36 p.m., 28800 block of 118th Avenue Southeast. Somebody stole a package from a home.
Theft: 11:50 p.m., 300 block of 21st Street Southeast. Police arrested a man for vehicle prowling, and in the process recovered $50 worth of clothing items, mail and a bag.
Dec. 4
Trespassing: 6:21 a.m., 1420 Harvey Road NE. Starbucks gave a fellow the old scramola, for two years.
Vandalism: Overnight, 600 block of 22nd Street Southeast. Taggers etched gang-style graffiti into a fence at a residence.
Order to surrender weapons: 3:44 p.m., 340 E. Main St. Somebody turned three guns into the PD, by court order.
Theft: 7:59 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A thief or thieves swiped multiple pairs of sunglasses from a store in The Outlet Collection mall.
Dec. 5
Fraud: 11:48 a.m., 118000 block of Southeast 318th Place. A resident called to report fraudulent activity on her BECU bank account.
Theft: 6:30 p.m., 1102 Outlet Collection Way SW. These three dudes stole five cellphones from one Sprint store.
Dec. 6
Drugs: 7:32 p.m., 800 block of C Street Southwest. Police busted a woman for driving with a suspended license, for failing to identify herself to a police officer, and for having a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
Dec. 7
Burglary: Overnight, 29308 132nd Avenue SE. An employee of a business called to report a burglary of assorted tools.
Shoplifting: 11:55 p.m., 762 Outlet Collection Drive Southwest. Police busted two kids for stealing from their employer, Walmart.
Dec. 8
Vandalism: 12 a.m., 2100 block of Auburn Way N. Somebody applied a brick to a windshield, with predictable results.
