July 20

Vandalism: 12:01 p.m., 1002 Harvey Road NE. Some gink with a spray can sprayed graffiti onto a business’ fence.

Dog bite: 9 p.m., 6821 Udall Place SE. A small dog bit a child.

Trespassing and vandalism: 6:30 a.m., 700 block of 12th Street Southeast. Having trespassed onto private property, a homeless woman got busy removing flowers and surrounding herself with them.

Shoplifting: 1:10 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. A man shoplifted stuff from Fred Meyer, then during his flight dropped a backpack with the goods inside. As employees were recovering the merchandise from the backpack, they found a wallet with ID inside.

Vandalism: 11:16 p.m., 104 10th St. NE. Police responded to a report of malicious mischief at the SHAG Apartments.

July 22

Burglary: 6:52 a.m., Kersey Way SE. Police busted two guys for burglarizing Icon Materials.

Trespassing: 8:49 a.m., 3030 R St. SE. Police ousted two men and a woman from Game Farm Park.

Next, more trespassing: 11:26 a.m., 400 Segale Hall Road. Police kicked two men and a woman from Puget Sound Energy property.

Theft of vehicle parts: Overnight, 2900 block of Auburn Way North. Bad guys working the wee-hours-of-the-morning-thievery shift stole two sets of wheels from two vehicles.

Theft: 3 p.m., 900 block of 9th Street Southeast. A City of Auburn employee reported the theft of radios.

July 23

Trespassing: 9:37 a.m., 299 12th St. SE. Police trespassed a man from Terminal Park.

Trespassing: 4:30 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. A woman whom the Fred Meyer store had trespassed in September of 2014 returned on July 22 to get herself busted for being a shoplifter of food, medicine, a bottle of booze and a bicycle helmet.

July 25

Tree theft: Overnight, 6700 block of Elaine Avenue Southeast. Somebody plucked up a small tree from a woman’s front yard and scampered away into the darkness.

July 26

Theft: 11:20 a.m., 32000 block of 104th Place Southeast. Somebody stole a canoe from a residential backyard.

Vandalism: 9 a.m., 29600 block of 128th Court Southeast. A vandal painted hateful words onto the exterior of someone’s garage door.
