Auburn Police blotter | May 25

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between May 15 and 19:

May 15

Resisting or interfering with police: 12:22 p.m., 32000 block of 104th Place Southeast. Police arrested a guy for obstructing an officer and resisting arrest.

Possession of a stolen vehicle: 1:19 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Police stopped the driver of a stolen vehicle, and in spite of his best efforts to flee on foot, the Police K-9 was faster and got him.

Forgery: 5:23 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A woman tried to purchase food, but the merchant involved raised objections to her phony $20 bill.

Trespassing: 11:26 p.m., 201 Auburn Way S. Taqueria El Corral told a guy to leave the corral, close the gate behind him, and not come back until at least 2021.

May 16

Disorderly conduct: 2:25 a.m., 3700 Auburn Way N. Police busted a guy for conduct undisclosed but known to be disorderly.

Strong arm robbery on street: 9:10 a.m., 31200 block of 12st Place Southeast. A robber stole a guy’s backpack, calculator and purple Galaxy S8 phone while he was walking along a street.

Burglary: 1:35 a.m., 1202 Outlet Collection Way SW. A bad guy broke into a bank but couldn’t steal anything.

Vandalism: 10:10 p.m., 202 N. Division St. Police arrested someone on suspicion of spray painting graffiti at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.

May 18

Pot bust: 9 a.m., 711 E. Main St. Police arrested a high school student for possession of Mary Jane.

Theft: 3 p.m., 1400 block of J Street Southeast. A man called 911 to report that somebody had stolen tools from the back of his work truck.

May 19

Controlled substance: 12:40 a.m., 2800 Auburn Way N. Police arrested a man for possession of drug paraphernalia and for making himself obnoxious on a bus.
