Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between May 10 and 20:
May 10
Trespassing: 9:07 a.m., 516 4th St. NE. Police busted a man who refused to leave the Auburn School District Pool, booked him on a warrant and issued him a trespassing notice.
Animal problem: 9:58 a.m., 11100 block of Southeast 305th Street. Three pit bull-type dogs were running loose and barking at people before their owner corralled them. Police cited the owner.
Theft: 2 p.m., 4100 block of C St NE. Somebody stole something from a commercial business, the business and the something both undisclosed.
Assault with injury: 7:22 p.m., 6800 block of Udall Place Southeast. Police arrested a woman for assaulting her girlfriend during an argument in their Lakeland Hills apartment while the victim’s teenage children were present.
May 12
Animal problem: 10:50 a.m., 200 block of 37th Street Southeast. A dog was running loose with a license tag attached to its collar, so Auburn’s animal control officer returned the dog to its residence and cited the owner.
Animal injuring human: 1:46 a.m., 11400 block of Southeast 304th Street. A dog bit three people, so Auburn’s animal control officer impounded the beast, declared it dangerous and arrested the owner.
Shoplifting: 3:44 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody stole the shirt right off a business’ rack.
May 14
Theft from vehicle: 9 a.m., 12100 block of Southeast 312th Street. A man reported that somebody had stolen the wheels and tires off his vehicle.
Theft: 4:05 p.m., 3600 block of Auburn Way N. Somebody got into a man’s storage unit and stole a pistol.
Forgery: 4:35 p.m., 2300 Ron Crockett Drive NW. Somebody passed a counterfeit bill to a parking valet employee at Emerald Downs.
Disorderly conduct: 5:17 p.m., 2200 block of F Street Southeast. Police contacted a kid for unlawful bus conduct.
May 17
Animal problem: 1:30 p.m., 110 block of 15th Street Southeast. Somebody reported an unregistered, potentially dangerous, unlicensed dog breed.
Theft: 1:42 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. A purse was recovered after it had been stolen while its owner was looking away from her shopping cart inside of Safeway.
Trespassing: 2:48 p.m., 1241 Auburn Way S. The Dollar Tree told a man he wasn’t welcome at that branch any longer.
May 20
Theft: 11:48 a.m., 1525 A St. NE. Somebody saw a man steal a cellphone from a van in Auburn.
